Avalon Ranch - Summit's sister facility - is a residential treatment facility for the treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism. We offer a level of seclusion that is absolutely unmatched among drug and alcohol treatment programs throughout Malibu and all of Southern California. Our treatment program consists of an integrated approach that relies on medical care (provided by an outside provider), individual therapy, group counseling and the experiences our ranch setting allows. Our program blends hard science with a 12-Step model to end the physical and emotional suffering of addiction. Avalon Ranch is located several miles from PCH, in Malibu, California. Our facility sits atop a natural mesa with stunning panoramas of the canyons and the Pacific Ocean. Bordered by towering Bony Ridge to the northeast, Avalon Ranch offers the ultimate in privacy, while still located less than an hour from Los Angeles. The photo tour to the right gives you a small taste of what our facility has to offer.
In order to ensure each participant receives individual attention, we only accept six residents at a time. Our staff to patient ratio enables us to give each resident the right amount of personal attention, as well as a private or double bedroom for privacy and comfort during treatment. Each resident is assigned their own quarters, appointed with luxurious linens and well appointed bathrooms. Because treatment is a demanding process, Avalon Ranch offers full meal preparation and housekeeping services to all residents.
