Extended Care Treatment
During the extended care phase the client transfers to our transitional facility and begins the process of community reintegration. With the support of staff they begin to be exposed to some of the stressors and daily living by taking passes into the community for the purpose of recovery fellowship, employment, personal business or academic endeavors. This enables clients to return to a safe supportive environment with a clinical team that can help them process their experiences. In general, during the extended care phase, the client’s work is more self-directed and there are more freedoms in establishing outside supports with the guidance of the clinical team
