One of the most important aspects of any treatment program is the relationships you create in your recovery process.  While at our Private Drug Rehab facility, our expert staff prides themselves on providing you with all the tools you need to recover from a life of addiction, including a treatment plan that is individualized just for you.  At Summit Malibu, you will meet with a treatment team every week for one-on-one, group and family therapy sessions in addition to our nursing staff and psychiatrist for any medication needs you have.  While at our Private Drug Rehab, you can also partake in our mind and body healing activities offered such as yoga, acupuncture, massage, physical fitness training, sports activities, as well as many others.  We at Summit Malibu believe that recovery of the body is fundamental and recovery of the mind is essential to maintaining of life of sobriety. 

At Summit Malibu’s Private Drug Rehab we use a three stage model in our approach to treatment.  We have primary care, extended care and continuing care programs.  In our primary care stage, clients are stabilized in terms of their medical and psychiatric conditions.  They are detoxed, when necessary, and a personalized treatment program is then created in collaboration with the client, based on each client’s specific needs.  Our clients go through an intensive 30 day treatment program and at Summit Malibu, many of our clients often extend their stay past these 30 days to further strengthen the beginning of their recovery process.  After a client finishes the primary care stage they are encouraged to participate in our extended care program.  This allows individuals to reintegrate back into their daily life, while using all of the tools they have learned during their stay at Summit Malibu’s Private Drug Rehab.
